수하갤러리는 예술을 사랑하는 모든 사람들의 공간입니다.
광주는 한국 예술, 특히 회화의 증심이라는 상징의 도시입니다. 상업적 비중은 작을지라도 작가와 작품활동은 어느 곳도 광주에 견줄 수 없습니다. 회화의 전통과 역사를 근간으로 하면서도 외부의 사조 변화를 수용하고 발전시키는 데에도 치열한 고민을 이어가고 있는 것이 광주 회화의 창조 기조입니다. 수하갤러리는 작가들의 플랫폼이 되고자 합니다. 작품은 작가 개인의 고뇌의 산물이지만, 흩어져 있는 작가들이 모이면 새로운 사조를 창출합니다. 작가들을 연결하는 네트워크를 만드는 것도 갤러리의 역할이라고 생각합니다. 작품 전시라는 본연의 기능과 함께 작가와 대중을 연결하는 장도 마련하겠습니다. 향후 장르, 분야, 세대, 크로스오버 등 다양한 시리즈별 전시회를 기획하고 있습니다. 작가님들은 물론 예술을 사랑하는 많은 분들의 관심과 응원을 바랍니다.

Suha Gallery is a Podium for All Art Loving People.
Gwang Ju has always been the pillar of the Korean Art, in particular painting art. Though not prevailing in commercial sense, any other cities in the country can hardly compare to Gwang Ju with her artists in number and activities across fields. Based on her long history and tradition, Gwang Ju artists dare to encompass changing current from the outside world, which in turn become the creative trend with toil. Suha Gallery would like be a cradle for such artists. While each artist bears his or her own pieces out of inner world, artists in arm can create new trend and fashion. Networks linking artists shall be a function of the gallery. Also it will hold podium for art loving public to meet artists. The Gallery prepares exhibition series across genre, category, generation and crossovers. I shall expect support and attention from all art loving audience as well as artists.
